Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Mecca, I had the opportunity to experience a unique blend of traditional hospitality and modern conveniences at a hotel that piqued my interest. The reception staff, especially Mr Ahmed, the manager, demonstrated commendable professionalism, accommodating my early check-in needs seamlessly. The hotel's proximity to the Haram was enhanced by shuttle services before each prayer, making it a convenient choice during Ramadan. While my experience had its merits, there were some challenges, particularly concerning the cleanliness and maintenance of my room. It was disappointing to find that housekeeping only took place weekly, leaving my room unattended for several days. Communication with staff could be inconsistent, leading to confusion on several occasions. Despite the shortcomings, the friendliness of staff members like Mr Abdul Majeed made my stay more pleasant. For those seeking an essential lodging experience in Mecca, this hotel offers a reasonable base, albeit with room for improvement in service delivery and facilities.
